Elementary Tutoring
I am going into my third year teaching first grade in Westwood, and I have also taught fourth grade. I have tutored children at the elementary level before and have experience teaching towards and giving the NJASK. While babysitting over the summers I work with the children on their skills so that they retain the information over the summer. I am available every day after school to either come to your home, the library, or even the park if it's a nice day and there aren't too many distraction...

Having had several students with ADD/ADHD, I am more than qualified to tutor students with both of these. The students that I work with have IEPs and I am used to creating goals and modifications so that they are able to succeed in the mainstream setting. Having everything very organized, cut into small segments, and having brain breaks often help students with ADD/ADHD.
